After extensive research, I decided on the 260 Wp solar module from CALIFAKTUR a few months ago. The main reason for my decision was the possibility of installing a professional photovoltaic solution for my VW California Ocean with "average technical skills". Since I generally avoid camping sites and drive my van all year round (Daly driver), the permanent availability of electricity was very important to me. In summer I have plenty of electricity, in winter the system supplies enough electricity to be self-sufficient for at least 4 days. Great!
The extremely simple installation was particularly noteworthy. Everything was a perfect fit and well thought out. Modules were screwed onto the standard C-rails and cables were routed through the left rear light into the interior to the rear cabinet. Charge controller connected, cable to the rear battery. Done! I would also like to highlight the extremely committed after-sales service. Any questions are answered quickly and competently by the founder Andy. My conclusion after 8 months
I haven't regretted for a second that I chose the large version. Installation was easy thanks to the included instructions and despite their size, the panels are inconspicuously attached to the roof. My request to connect the cable to the solar panel in a different way was implemented without any problems, so I didn't need the spiral cable. Since installation, I no longer have a power cable with me and have had no power supply problems either in the summer in Scotland or when winter camping in December.

Das Solarmodul von Califaktur kommt komplett vorkonfektioniert, die Kabel sind allesamt montiert und in der richtigen Länge. Dazu eine Anleitung, die es selbst unbegabten Handwerkern möglich machen sollte, die Anlage auf und in ihrem Bulli zu montieren.
Die Anlage selbst arbeitet wirklich prima, selbst bei Hochnebel wie heute tröpfeln so einige Watt in das Panel. Daher freue ich mich schon, wenn ich dann im Frühjahr und bei schönem Wetter mal die komplette Leistungsfähigkeit austesten kann.
Jedoch noch ein Hinweis: ursprünglich wollte ich mir die Anlage bei eurer Partnerwerkstatt in Langenzenn einbauen lassen. Leider jodoch scheint man dort keinerlei Lust zu haben, auf Anfragen zu reagieren. Als nach mehreren Wochen trotz Erinnerung keine Antwort erfolgte, habe ich dann bestellt und selbst montiert. Das war auch kein Problem, doch wäre es schade, wenn unprofessionelles Verhalten einer Werkstatt dann auf euch zurückfallen sollte.
Super Produkt! Schneller, unkomplizierter Versand. Einfach anzubringen und hat sich im Urlaub sofort gut bewährt!! Rundum zufrieden!!!!
Was habe ich gesucht und recherchiert um ein Solarsystem für meinen Cali T6 zu bekommen. Ich habs immer wieder verworfen, Einzelteilsammlungen ohne Montageanleitungen usw. - darauf hatte ich keine Lust. Mit dem Set von Califaktur war es dann endlich möglich einfach und schnell das Thema Solar abzuhaken. Genau, abhaken! Einen Nachmittag investiert und das Thema ist durch. Alles passt, die Anleitung ist gut verständlich, es funktioniert einfach. So muss das sein :) Highly Recommended!
Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: die Schraubösen der Anschlusskabel für die Batterie können gern eine Nummer kleiner ausfallen, das sitzt noch etwas besser dann. Und die serienmäßige Minuspolklemme an der Aufbaubatterie bekommt man kaum aufgeschraubt (Sicherung gegen Kontaktverlust), da wäre ein Kabelschuh sinnvoller - wenns erlaubt ist…
